1

Onboarding

During this phase, Maddy takes the time to study your health history, both through our lab protocols and your initial health history form. We will recommend any functional testing from the get-go so we can set you up for an effortless prep

A Customized Plan

Once the research has been collected, Maddy and her team will create a protocol specifically tailored to you, encompassing your nutrition, supplementation, and training program. This phase is highly personable and specific to you, your goals, and your experience.- All athletes are given an exclusive athlete profile within our customized branded coaching app where they can access their check in form, progress pictures, graphs of weight/measurements, customized protocol, workouts (updated every 8-10 weeks), and chat with their coach. – Using our dispensary, we will provide a customized supplement protocol for you so that we can support your body before, during and after your season

Plan To Stage

Whether you need some time in a building phase (offseason), some time focusing on optimizing your internal health/hormones, or simply working on the foundations necessary to to take things to the next level (tracking macros, getting adherent with training, etc.), You will be supported every step of the way

When it’s time to get a plan in place for the stage, you and your coach will collaborate on a specific plan for shows with a strategy that you feel confident in

You will begin working on posing, suit selection, heel selection, and maddy will begin walking you through the process of dieting down for a bikini competition

During this phase, you will be checking in with your coach twice weekly. During peak week, all athletes receive customized protocols for nutrition, supplementation, and training. You will check in with your coach daily and twice daily if needed. On show day, your coach provides you with a minute-by-minute schedule and facetimes/calls multiple times. MPowered offers in-person show weekend packages for an additional fee for all athletes.

Reverse Dieting

Reverse dieting protocols are provided for all athletes the second they step off stage. Phone calls occur the Monday after show and following show day, the athlete has text access to the coach for the remainder of the weekend for anything they need. MPowered takes the post-show experience very seriously and heavily considers the athlete’s emotional well being, internal health, and physical well being Feedback is obtained on behalf of the athlete from judges- A plan for future shows/offseason/health phase is created in collaboration with the athlete Any bloodwork/functional testing necessary is ordered at this tim

The OCB (Organization of Competitive Bodybuilding), NPC Bikini Division, and the new NPC Fit Model Division cater to different aspects of physique competition, focusing on varying levels of muscularity, conditioning, presentation, and judging criteria. Here’s a breakdown of their differences:

OCB Bikini Division

  • Organization: OCB is a natural bodybuilding federation. Competitors are subject to rigorous drug testing to ensure they are not using performance-enhancing substances.
  • Physique Criteria:
    • Focus on a balanced, feminine look.
    • Lean but not overly muscular or shredded.
    • Emphasis on symmetry, proportionality, and an overall polished appearance.
  • Presentation:
    • Stage presence and confidence are key.
    • Competitors perform “T-walks” or similar routines to showcase their physiques.
  • Suit: Typically a two-piece bikini with embellishments, similar to NPC.
  • Judging: Judging emphasizes overall aesthetic appeal and conditioning, but with a softer and less extreme look compared to NPC.
  • Audience: Appeals to athletes who prefer natural competitions and are not interested in the untested environment of NPC.

NPC Bikini Division

  • Organization: The NPC (National Physique Committee) is one of the largest and most competitive federations in bodybuilding and fitness, serving as the amateur league for the IFBB Pro League.
  • Physique Criteria:
    • A lean, athletic look with visible but not overly pronounced muscle definition.
    • Emphasis on a small waist, rounded glutes, and a balanced, hourglass shape.
    • Conditioning is stricter than in OCB Bikini, but not as extreme as in divisions like Figure or Women’s Physique.
  • Presentation:
    • Competitors walk in an “I-walk” format, showcasing front, back, and side poses.
    • Confidence, sass, and personality are crucial for success.
  • Suit: Bedazzled two-piece bikinis with connectors.
  • Judging: Judged on muscularity, symmetry, stage presence, and overall femininity.
  • Audience: Appeals to athletes who aspire to move up to the IFBB Pro League and compete internationally, including at events like the Olympia.

NPC Fit Model Division (New)

  • Purpose: Designed to highlight a more natural and attainable look compared to traditional bodybuilding divisions.
  • Physique Criteria:
    • Focus on elegance, athleticism, and symmetry.
    • A lean but softer look compared to Bikini. Emphasis on an “everyday fit” aesthetic rather than extreme conditioning.
    • Minimal vascularity or striations.
  • Presentation:
    • Competitors often wear a one-piece swimsuit or sportswear instead of traditional bikinis.
    • Presentation mimics runway modeling, with an emphasis on grace and poise.
    • Less focus on traditional bodybuilding poses; the emphasis is on how the competitor carries themselves.
  • Suit: Could include fashionable one-piece swimsuits or stylish activewear, reflecting the division’s model-like approach.
  • Judging:
    • Focus on overall aesthetic, elegance, and marketability as a fitness model.
    • Less emphasis on extreme muscle conditioning or separation.
  • Audience: Appeals to athletes who prefer a less muscular, more mainstream fitness look and are interested in bridging the gap between fitness modeling and physique competitions.
